My Pentax Optio s40 is a piece of crappy metal.
It didn't come with any extra accessories so I had to spend more money to get memory cards and charges and batteries. (that's my fault for buying it in such a rush)
It has had constant battery problems and declares all of my brand new/freshly charged batteries as 'depleted'.
Before I thought it was the batteries' problem but now I realise it is the camera. Other people have the same problem too.
I am this close (--) to throwing the shitty camera out the window.
When I can afford to buy another camera I will definitely do more research and hope that I won't get a crappy deal.
I hate technology and mass produced digital crap where quality is compromised for $$.

i don't know how the whole internet-pay thing works, a i've never done it before.
so i'll sound a little stupid.
is it possible to pay by savings anyhow?
you know I think you can pay using savings...you can sign up with paypal and add in a bankcard and transfer money into your bank account...so maybe you can do the opposite too and take money from your bank account into the paypal account.
ok..let me go have a poke around and see.
Ok I know how now. Just sign up for paypal and there is a link below "add a credit card" which is setting up a bank account transfer thingy which allows you to pay from your savings account via paypal. It's easy and safe

although, my ears don't close too easy.
i remember i didn't wear earrings for a month & got them in easy?
but that's also because my first earring hole is a bit bigger than usual because of thick earrings.
so it takes longer to close.
but when i was younger they did close fast.
oh well.
as for the camera... well you should give yourself a treat after the next commission!

I think there was a canon eos 8mp that was on sale before $990 and it came with 2 lenses!

Apparently the next (couple of generations down) model is coming out pretty soon - the 400. If you want we can discuss this when i get to your place, though the market changes so fast...they always have new stuff and it's hard to keep up.
just struggling to get this new desktop back online - urgh!! talk about a brand new system crashing... i swear computers hate me...
