Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

I think that person should shove their foot up their ass! And if they dont want to do it themselves, I'll do it for them! Trust me... they won't have their foot left, cuz it will be up their ass after I see them! That was the most stupidest thing I've ever read. That is so right when u said, "Dont like my site ... LEAVE " Nobody is asking that thing to stay at your site. And plaus they are telling you to go to someone elses site and rip them off by copying it and changing your own. That person needs to be eaten alive... I can do that

Better watch out you it. First I'll shove your foor in your mouth and then shove your foot and head in ur ass... and I'll leave them in there for a couple of hours so they get torture and then eat them alive

First thing I suggest- Ignore anybody who can't speak proper fucking english. If a person can't even structure a sentence properly you shouldn't take offense from what they say. These people are obviously retards or something.

Second thing I suggest- Listen to some really heavy music, so you can get really pumped. Then, find out where these people live, and pay them a little visit. I would suggest my good Mr. Axe to take with you, he is generally a handy companion in situations like this.
